Who we are

Swing First Golf was founded in 2004 by lifelong friends Dave Ashton & Jeff Lundgren. What began with a single course has grown into a collection of clubs across Arizona, each shaped by the same hands-on approach and shared vision. From day one, the goal has been simple: improve each property and enjoy the process.

Our structure is intentionally simple. We make decisions together and stay closely involved in the day-to-day realities of each club. Dave leads acquisitions, finance, and development, while Jeff works directly with club leaders to guide operations and elevate performance. 

We believe great golf experiences start with great courses, but are defined by the people who bring them to life. So empowered leaders and small, collaborative teams are at the core of how we operate. By listening, improving, and sharing what we learn across our clubs, we aim to deliver better experiences for our teams and our guests. Above all, we’re committed to building places  everyone feels they belong.
